In 2010, more than 7,000 families were reached through one or more service, program or project sponsored by Mano a Mano Family Center thanks to support of our community and our funders.

This is what community support does for our clients:

$200/month: After School activities for 15, 6-8th graders

$500/month: Leadership Development for 40-50 middle and high school youth

$200/month: Occupational readiness for 15 adult learners

Volunteer support has been one of the reasons for the longevity of our organization over nearly one quarter of a century. We are always welcoming new volunteers into our organization.

Our main need is for volunteer instructors in English for Adult Language Learners, Civics, and After School Leadership, Arts, Health and Cultural Program. Being fully bilingual or bicultural is always preferred, but the opportunities listed above do not always require a fully bilingual instructor.
