As we prepare to celebrate our 40th anniversary, the NE Salem Community Hub, anchored by Mano a Mano, will support the wellbeing, inclusion,
and belonging of families in NE Salem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Holy Cross Lutheran Church (HCLC) is a 20,000+ square-foot facility that will be a vibrant, welcoming space for people in NE Salem, primarily serving the Lansing and surrounding neighborhoods. The NE Salem Hub will anchor the future of Mano a Mano and the community we serve\u2014 designed, led, and implemented by those who call this neighborhood home.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

The Holy Cross Lutheran Church congregation is entrusting Mano a Mano to continue working to achieve our shared purpose of building community. Together, we can honor their legacy, deepen Mano a Mano’s roots in Northeast Salem, and celebrate 40 years of our work for a future built by and for community.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Our Vision: A Community Hub for
Generations<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Under the stewardship of the Holy Cross congregation, and in partnership with Mano a Mano and other partners, the site currently supports early learning (Casa Infantil), youth and family gatherings, physical activity (Zumba and basketball), interfaith worship, 12-step groups, and transitional housing support. It already houses more than a dozen community and faith-based programs. Our vision will expand this site into a more vibrant and welcoming space:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
